·   Expected results:

· Novel and safe production of nanocomplexes, made of therapeutic metallic nanoparticles functionalized with various drugs, and of biomimetic nano hydroxyapatites, jointly embedded into a polymeric matrix to obtain innovative composites for cancer therapy, anti-infection implants, and bone regeneration.
· Optimization of the synthesis methods, and the complete physical, chemical, and biological characterization of the novel bionanomaterials.
· Assessment of the applicability of novel bionanomaterials, for biomedical purpose by laboratory investigation of the release of drugs and determination of antimicrobial or anticancer efficiency of the obtained composites.
