Abstract
The NEMSyB is an interdisciplinary research project exploring the potential of innovative and new nanoscale immobilization methods of enzymes and their integration in novel microfluidic systems of various dimensions and complexity.
The project aims – by the aid of nanosupported enzymes and integrated microfluidic devices – to develop smart artificial metabolic systems for production of industrially relevant compounds such as chiral forms of amino acids, amines, aminoalcohols and alcohols. The NEMSyB project involves innovative biotechnology-based approaches to four different but related objectives
