The research facilities at our group can be checked at the Biocatalysis and Biotransformations Research Center homepage.

As part of the Biocatalysis and Biotransformation Research Center we have access to all the existing infrastructure necessary for protein expression, isolation, purification and characterization, for analytical and preparative cromatographic separations HPLCs, GCs, FPLCs, LC-MSs), organic synthesisand the corresponding structural determinations (NMR, HR-MS). The project contributes to the infrastructural development of the research center through the Chemidoc imager, providing high quality images from our electrophoresis and western-blot results and with the Tecan 10M Spark multiplatereader equipped with the TE-cooling module, enabling the development of fast and precise enzyme assays.

Eppendorf Mastercycler ProS

The Mastercycler ProS allows us to perform gradient PCRs in 96-well plate format.

ChemiDoc Imaging System

The ChemiDoc Imaging System provides fast, reliable, and sensitive imaging and documentation of gels and chemiluminescence western blots. This system is compatible with stain-free technology, chemiluminescence detection.

We updated our Chemidoc MP imaging system with the fluorescence detection modul, helpful for developing plate MIO-activity-assays!
