PARTICIPATION TO EUROPEAN PROJECTS
· Bilateral Scientific Cooperation: We have long term bilateral scientific cooperation with University of London, King’s College, U.K., Philipps University of Marburg, Germany, University of Paris South, Paris, France, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and others. Our joint publications of scientific research articles, books and patents represent a traditional way to share the achievements from our research and innovative activity. Now, our main aim is to make new project proposals to be funded in European Community. To this end, our major goal is to maintain and extend our long term partnership at the National and European level continuing a strong participation in bilateral collaborative projects within existing structures. Our network of excellence research is in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology. Finally, the major outcome consists of the development of innovative nanofabrication and characterisation methods for planar nanostructured multifunctional materials with controlled properties and applications. We have a strong interest to cooperate in a consortium that deals with nanosystems and nanostructured multifunctional materials, in which we take care of nanofabrication and characterization methods. |
