Introduction

I am an ordinary metal atom. Not as ordinary as you might think I am, I am much smarter than other atoms. That's why they sent me here and didn't send another one. I will teach you as much as I can about atomic spectrometry methods because I know a lot about them. You can't imagine how much we, the atoms, suffered because of these methods - you'll see later why.

I came here to show you all you need to know to become a good analyst. This way you'll make fast analyses, use small quantities of sample and obtain accurate and precise results. From my point of view the use of small quantities of sample is all that matters. That's how you'll hurt as few atoms as possible.
