The Chemical Doctoral School (SDC) develops PhD programs in Inorganic, Organometallic, Organic, Supramolecular, Analytical and Computational Chemistry as well as in Physical Chemistry and Biochemistry. Many of these programs are running in partnership (in some cases joint programs) with European Universities (mainly from France, Germany and Spain). The results of our research are currently published in the main chemistry journals (Chem. Eur. J., Chem. Commun., Org. Lett., Inorg. Chem., J. Org. Chem., Dalton Trans., Org. Biomol. Chem, Tetrahedron, Colloids and Surfaces, Electrochim. Acta) proving international recognition of our continuous achievements.

The PhD students of SDC have access to high performance equipments [NMR spectroscopy: 300, 400 and 600 MHz Bruker spectrometers; Mass spectrometry: GC-MS (Shimadzu), LC-MS (Agilent) and Orbitrap (Thermo); X-ray diffractometry: Smart Apex Bruker; Microscopy: STM and AFM, (JEOL)], chemical databases (Reaxys and Cambridge Structure Database), main chemistry journals, and they are involved in the national and international research grants coordinated by their scientific advisors.
